Event Awards – VR Photo Booth

For the Event Awards 2017, Say Fromage wanted to incorporate Virtual Reality in a way that suited the event so we created a VR Photo Booth designed for team pictures!

It used a 4k camera to create photos that capture a full 360° of action. Housed in a glowing, opaque cube that not only allowed guests to choose the colour of their room but also acted as a colourful spectacle in the centre of the Hammersmith Apollo lobby.

After entering the room and having their picture taken, the photos are then transferred instantly to a tablet where they can be previewed and rotated. From here users send an email to themselves containing the photo that they can share on social media, but most importantly a link to view their VR photograph.

We've already been thinking about how this project could be used with a green screen interior to allow complete customisation of the VR image.
